Ever since the news about French government conferring Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts Arts et Lettres (Knight in the National Order Arts and Letters) on legendary Indian actor Kamal Haasan, social media has been abuzz with fans and celebrities wishing Kamal.

Joining the list of people who wished the legendary actor now is none other than Kamal’s longtime friend and Super Star Rajinikanth. Today, Rajini took to Twitter and wished Kamal in Tamil. Rajini equalled Kamal Haasan with the legendary Sivaji Ganesha and called Kamal as the Nadigar Thilagam of present day Tamil cinema.

AP govt to honour Sindhu and Gopichand greatly

  Andhra Pradesh (AP) government has decided to gift a cash prize of Rs. 3 crores, a site in capital area and a Group 1 cadre job in the state administration, to Olympic Silver Medalist Sindhu. It will also honour coach Gopichand with five acres of land for setting up coaching centre and Rs. 50 lakh cash prize. Both will be honoured before the Assembly session begins.

According to the latest buzz, this as-yet-untitled film has become a hotcake in overseas, with several buyers vying for the film’s theatrical rights and are not thinking twice to shell out a bomb.

As per our sources, buyers are ready to offer 16 crores to grab the film’s North American rights, while the makers are quoting a cool 25 crore to give away both Telugu and Tamil rights. Mahesh has an unprecedented overseas market and coupled with Murugadoss’ touch, the film is expected to do a phenomenal business in all areas.
